Orange Goes Green

Green living is coming to Orange Village in the form of Ohio's first National Green Building Standards residential community — the Lakes of Orange.  Homes will be custom-built to meet National Green Building Standards and certifications of the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED). The houses, built on quarter- to three-quarter-acre lots, will cost more than $500,000. The 95-acre neighborhood will include 156 homes and include a clubhouse with a pool and tennis courts. A 30-acre conservation area will remain largely untouched with trails, a lake and wildlife remaining in place.
