Buying and selling a home numerous times throughout my life is what led me to a career in real estate. Each move presented my family with different challenges and obstacles to overcome. It was difficult to know who I could rely on to meet our needs and always have my family’s best interest in mind. The daunting tasks of getting our home ready to sell, finding a new home, negotiating a fair price, and then preparing to move was overwhelming and stressful to say the least.
However, the enjoyment came as we settled into each new house and made it our home. I learned how important it is to have your home reflect your family’s personality and provide a comfortable space to live, work and play. Throughout moving, I had various opportunities to decorate, remodel and build my own home. I found this aspect of moving to be fun and rewarding. These combined experiences left me with a desire to become a real estate professional and use my experiences to help others.
I have always had the desire to help and to serve people. My brother Bill was born with special needs and has had a significant impact on my life. As he overcame many obstacles he showed me how important perseverance and discipline is to accomplishing the things that are important to you. Being Bill's sister and advocate led me to choose a career in special education. After college, I became a special education teacher. While impacting the lives of students with special needs was rewarding, I wanted to have a greater impact on society as a whole and decided to attend law school. I spent my early career working to advocate for legal rights and later served as a criminal prosecutor.
As my children grew older, I decided to be a primary stay at home mom and focus on my family. Although still wanting to be involved, I continue to serve on various non-profit boards raising funds and awareness for different causes. This service keeps me active in the community and connected to a vast network of professionals throughout northeast Ohio.
Service and advocacy have been the overriding principles that have defined my professional career. These prinicples are also the foundation for my career as a real estate agent. Your goals and family's best interest will always be the driving force behind every action and decision. As your agent, I am confident that my level of service and commitment will exceed your highest expectation.
I will be responsive to your specific needs. I will take the time to listen and truly understand your needs and goals in finding the right home and in preparing to sell your current home. Achieving your goals is my top priority.
I will provide ongoing support and guidance. I will answer your questions, discuss your concerns, and provide you with the information you need to make well-informed decisions throughout the home buying and selling process. I work for you, and will be there when you need me.
I will not only be your agent, but your advocate. I will use my experience and skills to represent your best interests, and get you the best price. My attention to detail will minimize your stress and ensure a smooth process. Let my experience work for you.
Spending time with my family and friends is my greatest joy. If weather permits, I chose to be outdoors. My favorite activities include hiking, biking, and traveling to new places. When indoors, I enjoy activities with my children, reading and home improvement projects.
