My family and I have resided in Highland Heights since 1987. I have a vast knowledge of the surrounding area, as I have owned and operated petroleum, auto repair, food and restaurant business's here for 30 years.

What are your expectation of me?

As my client I will owe you a FIDUCIARY DUTY.

Fiduciary duty are two words used a lot, but not always understood.  Fiduciary duty is the requirement to act primarily for the benefit of my client.  When I have a fiduciary relationship, it is my duty to put your interests first, and before my own.

So what are those duties: Obedience, Loyalty, Disclosure, Confidentiality, Accountability and Reasonable Care.

I will obey your legal directions, put your interests above mine, disclose all material information, keep your information private, account for your money and use my skill and competence to represent you, my client.

I derive my pleasure guiding first time home buyers through the search, selection and purchase process, of their first home purchase.  It becomes a teaching and learning evolution for both of us.

The Cleveland transplant brings new emotions to the process of exploring new neighborhoods as they envision how they may fit in.  I want to share my enthusiasm, emotions and experience with my buyer as we look for the right fit for you and your family.

Buying HUD owned Homes

Let me show you how to buy HUD owned properties.  There are many properties available in the $10,000 price range.  Many of these properties qualify for up to $35,000 for a 203k improvement loan.  Policemen, Firefighters, EMS and Teachers are eligible for a 50% reduction from the list price of many properties.

The process is simple and is completed on line.  You will know the next day if your bid was accepted.

Call me, we can meet at my office or at a coffee shop.  I will fire up my computer and show you every HUD property in Ohio.  I have the keys too.


Personal Background

We enjoy experiencing new cultures and places. We have traveled through parts Italy, Greece, France, Mexico and the Caribbean.

I remember fondly that day in late May 1996 when we found ourselves at the foot of the Village of Monolates on the island of Samos somewhere in the Aegean Sea.  We walked almost straight up the 600 year old mountain village through winding cobble stone walkways. Passing open windows and doors, absorbing  the aeromatic flavors of each cooking pot and the banter of children and grandmothers.

Along the way we noticed the signs for "Lukas Taverna" which was a pleasant diversion from offerings of "main street". When we crested the top, we were in the clouds looking down on the blue Aegean and there before us was the toothless, welcoming smile of Lukas beckoning us to sit and eat and drink.  We didn't understand each other's language, but there was the universal bond of good fellowship as we sat together and toasted life.

These are some of life's moments that mean more than mere possessions.

 


Personal Interests

I am an avid fly fisherman, having learned the skill in my 20's.  I have fly fished from the Adirondacks Mountains to Montana and from Alaska to Mexico and a few points in between.

I love playing at golf and have learned to accept my fraility at this humbling sport.

But, most of all my grandchildren Jordan and Andrew (in order of birth) give me the most pleasure.
