Let’s face it, most people aren’t comfortable with sales professionals. Whether its homes, cars, furniture, or any other transaction that requires more than a quick check out, the intent remains the same – avoid them at all costs. In some cases that may be wise, but in the case of buying a home, you need someone on YOUR side. Someone you can trust.
In meeting various people at open houses and in the community, I’m realizing that most prospective home buyers are hesitant to engage with a real estate professional for one simple reason - they don’t want to be pressured. And I have to agree. Home buying should be one of the best experiences of your life. Not the worst.
Before you represent yourself in a home purchase, consider speaking with an agent. They have the latest tools and up-to-date knowledge of what’s happening in communities all across Northeast Ohio. And remember, it’s never too early to engage an agent, which may be of little to no cost for you.
